The plan
On arrival you will be directed to your table where you will be served a unique Azorean Afternoon/High Tea, totally designed by Hungry Whales: unique bread rolls, volcanic scones and home made sweets, paired with loose-leaf organic teas - all delicious and locally produced!

Your host will provide commentary and context, along with insightful short stories the teas and foods. 

You are invited to just sit back, relax, and enjoy!

Context
The Azorean island of São Miguel is home to centennial tea plantations, that flourish amid fertile volcanic soil, Atlantic breeze and luxurious landscapes. Throughout the last 150 years, tea has been produced according to ancient techniques learned from Chinese masters, and processed in authentic machinery imported from Victorian England.

Family traditions, recipes and many tales, paired with delicious foods, now creatively reinvented.
